http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=578623 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=578623#c0 Summary: dbus-daemon takes 99% of CPU when Choqok is started Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jchimmel@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.249.43 Safari/532.5 Quickly after starting Choqok, the computer slows to a halt, with dbus-daemon taking near 100% of CPU time and the hard-disk access light on constantly. I was only able to stop the behavior by rebooting and then very quickly killing choqok (which auto-restores) before the system freaks out. I wrote about it on the forum, but no replies yet: http://forums.opensuse.org/applications/432548-dbus-daemon-takes-99-cpu-choq... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Choqok 2. Wait a minute 3. Run top to see that dbus-daemon is out of control Actual Results: dbus-daemon takes 100% of CPU time and slows down everything to a crawl. Eventually i have to reboot the machine in another terminal. Expected Results: Not taken 100% of CPU -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
