Summary: keymap breakage after update to GNOME 2.28.2
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.2
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: GNOME
AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My keyboard layout configuration fails to load properly after update to GNOME
2.28.2:

My gdm configuration: Czech keyboard

My desktop configuration uses triple layout:
Czech with <\|> key
USA
Czech

Work-around: call setxkbmap from console

Example of key that worked before and now it does not:

AltGr+9 should generate: {
AltGr+0 should generate: }

It did before upgrade and does after setxkbmap call now. But without setxkbmap,
it does:

AltGr+9 does: It creates a bash {foo{foo,foo},foo} expression that lists all
files in the current directory
AltGr+0 does: visual beep appears

xev does before setxkbmap (i. e. while broken):
