Xorg.0.log with correct detected Touchpad

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:
Gecko/20091222 SUSE/3.5.7-1.1.1 Firefox/3.5.7

I start the computer and from the Xorg.0.log I can see that
my ALPS/2 Touchpad is not detected. Instead a Generic PS/2 Mouse is
detected. Because of this not the synaptics driver but evdev is loaded.
I don't have a xorg.conf but let X11 detect everything.

When I hibernate the computer and restart from hibernation, the
Touchpad is detected correct and the synaptics driver is loaded.

When I add the kernel boot options "i8042.reset i8042.nomux" the synaptics
driver is correctly loaded at boot time and does work.

If I then do suspend instead of hibernate and restart, an error is
reported in Xorg.0.log and the Touchpad is recognized as a Generic Mouse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot the computer.
2. Look into Xorg.0.log or list device names with cat
/proc/bus/devices/input|grep ^N:
3. See Generic PS/2 Mouse instead of Touchpad.
Actual Results:
Generic PS/2 Mouse

Expected Results:
ALPS/2 Touchpad
