a, reboot --> done
b, check what driver is loaded # hwinfo --wlan --> no driver loaded
c, unload the driver found in b, # rmmod <driver> --> not neccessary
d, load the wl driver # modprobe wl --> FATAL: Module wl not found.
--> load via modprobe lib80211; insmod hybrid_wl/wl.ko
e, check the driver is loaded # lsmod | grep wl --> wl 1294464
0
and observe the messages # tail -f /var/log/messages
