I have the same problem. Running 2 HDs as a raid1.
/dev/md0 as /
/dev/md1 as swap
/dev/md2 as /srv
I told fstab to use labels and grub uses mbr.
During installation I get the error "Device block!9:0 not found in sysfs" and
grub won't boot.
I also tried Ext3 instead of Ext4.
