http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574375 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574375#c0 Summary: After installing with AutoYast I cannot log in (console-kit-daemon not running) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST AssignedTo: ug@novell.com ReportedBy: bobstaff@eecradar.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=339161) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=339161) My autoinst.xml file User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 SUSE/3.5.6-1.1.1 Firefox/3.5.6 I'm trying to make a DVD with an autoinst.xml fileon it that will be used to auto load and configuresystems.I've made the DVD and it installs OpenSuse fine, and I can log in once, but after a reboot I can nolonger log in from the graphical login (kdm)I can log in at the console, and if I start console-kit-daemon by hand I can then log in successfully from the graphical login. If I install OpenSuse 11.2 manually (even using the same custom DVD but without using the autoinst.xml file) I do not have this problem.I've looked at the differences in the startup between the manually installed and autoyast installed system, but not found how console-kit-daemon gets started yet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install using the autoinst.xml file (autoyast=file:///autoinst.xml) 2.Reboot 3.Try to log in Actual Results: Return to log in screen. Expected Results: Should bring up desktop If you need the ISO image of my custom DVD created using makesusedvd, I can provide that also. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
