YaST it correctly identified and warned that you must install iscan manually. For 11.2 I found and installed two packages iscan-firmware and iscan-proprietary-drivers. Then I again ran the scanner setup dialog, but received a message that still need to install iscan. After installing iscan for openSUSE 11.1 version of the scanner configuration is completed.
