[Bug 566199] DVD burner (Pioneer DVR-K06RS) on IDE->SATA adapter will not be recognized on nVidia MCP79 controller

Ubuntu and Koppix also dont work. Btw: i've bought a real sata dvd burner today. So i cannot test anymore with this pc.
