--- Comment #60 from Stanislav Brabec 2009-12-18 15:45:09 CET ---
The broken focus issue is caused by an incorrect use of GTK+/GDK in Adobe
Flash:
In the new GTK+/GDK, some GdkWindow objects don't use native X Window any more.
Application that used GDK correctly don't have any problems with this change.
Applications that expected 1:1 mapping between GdkWindow and X Window don't
work correctly any more.
The work-around above applies only to systems with nspluginwrapper on a default
11.2 x86_64 (and probably also i586) installation. Both installations use
pull-in for 32-bit flash-player. nspluginwrapper is in the default pattern on
x86_64 and it seems to be installed by default on i586 as well (however it is
not required there and consumes some extra resources, it is useful to isolate
Flash crashes from the rest of the browser).
64 bit flash is not part of openSUSE 11.2 nor any of its pull-ins. According to
nspluginwrapper documentation, nspluginwrapper does not wrap native plugins by
default (with exception of i586 - it is configured so in the spec).
