I installed openSUSE 11.2 in first partition. Grub is writen in first partition too. Boot flag is for first partition. All works fine. Now I tryied to install Windows XP in free space. (Installation failed, because the partition was too far from disc begining. Computer started to Windows partition (Windows set boot flag to it's partition)). To restore GRUB, I inserted openSUSE DVD, selected repair and used tool for boot loader repair. It writed succesfull message, but after rebooting Windows starts! So I inserted an Gparted LiveCD and set boot flag for first partition. Now GRUB started. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE. Write GRUB to openSUSE's partition. Boot flag for openSUSE partiotion 2. Install Windows in other partition 3. Try to fix GRUB Actual Results: GRUB restore shows succesfull messages, but computer won't boot with openSUSE Expected Results: computer starts with GRUB, openSUSE starts openSUSE repair system should detect, which partition has boot flag. And accordingly fix boot problems.
