I value the fact that openSuse supports a wide range of hardware. It was one reason why I started using it. However there is no point in having out-of-date drivers in the distribution. So please replace them with more modern drivers if they are available. Certainly the stcolor driver seems to be a general replacement for the older Stylus printers.
