Then it plays a short time and hangs again for a while. Pulseaudio tells, that it is bug in the ALSA driver. How to reproduce: Watch DVB-T TV via xine. You are able to hear sound no longer than one minute. The same problem seems to affect all programs (Flash, Totem,...). When using ALSA directly, it seems that no problem appears. Pulse is configured with PULSE_NO_SIMD=1 Attaching /var/log/messages.
