http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=552442 Summary: KDE LiveCD doesn't boot on a PC with Radeon HD 3850 AGP installed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 2 Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Live Medium AssignedTo: coolo@novell.com ReportedBy: evilcleric@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ru; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-1.1 Firefox/3.5.2 You get a half-black/half-white screen and a mouse cursor which responds to mouse movements perfectly. KDE stops loading after that point. I know that radeon r500/r600 *agp* cards are not supported by fglrx, but the default radeonhd driver in my openSUSE 11.1 installation works like a charm with my Radeon HD 3850 AGP. PS Tested the newly released Ubuntu 9.10 live cd and got the same results, except the screen was totally black Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
