http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=550455 Summary: acer-wmi loads by default no wlan0 connectivity. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: eclay@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Consulting The standard install of openSUSE 11.2 rc1 acer-wmi is loaded by default. With this driver loaded wlan0 (AR5001) interface isn't available. So I add it to the 50-blacklist.conf file so it doesn't load by default. Once that is done and the system is rebooted I can use the button on the front of the system to turn off the wlan but can't use it to turn back on. The only fix is to boot in to windows xp and use button to enable and then reboot. Acer Aspire One A0531h or zg8 I will attache a support config file to this bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
