http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=534030 Summary: KMail does not logout from mailbox when I press 'cancel' in the pop3 filter dialog Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer using 11.1 + latest packages from KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop KMail does not (seem to) logout from mailbox when I press 'cancel' in the pop3 filter dialog. My guess is that it does not send a "quit" command to the server, but simply drops the connection. The result is that the server presents me a error message like "mailbox already in use by a POP3 session" when I try fetching mails the next time. Reproducer: - set up a low limit on the message size (and make sure you have at least one bigger message in the mailbox) so that the pop3 filter dialog appears for sure - fetch mail from this mailbox - in the pop3 dialog, click the "cancel" button - try to fetch the mailbox again (In case you have a mailbox there: the server is pop.email.vodafone.de and belongs to the free mailbox you can get as mobile phone customer.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
