Pavol: I'm sure it can be fixed if someone investigates what's going wrong. I
just have no idea why it would start half of GNOME for the user. There's no
reason for this.

Does it only happen for autologin? What gnome programs are started in the user

Note that the fact that GDM depends on various GNOME components should be
completely irrelevant here.
