Summary: Firefox 3.5.2 application closes when tab is closed
containing pdf in acroread plugin
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.2
Version: Factory
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Firefox
AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: rkrell@xxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2)
Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-110.2 Firefox/3.5.2

I'm currently using OpenSUSE 11.2 Milestone 5 + the latest factory updates.
Each time I close a tab in Firefox containing a PDF document shown in the
Acrobat Reader plugin the whole Firefox application closes instead with all
other tabs. No warning or messagebox is shown before. If started from a console
there is no output while this happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2. Open a normal website, as
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.5.2/releasenotes/
3. In a second tab, open a PDF document, as
http://www.un.org/Depts/Cartographic/map/profile/romania.pdf within the
acroread plugin
4. Close the recently opened tab with the PDF
Actual Results:
The Firefox application closes including all tabs.

Expected Results:
Only the tab with the PDF should be closed, all other open tabs should be left
open.
