Well, while moving to entire drive encryption w/ boot from usb key I've
reinstalled Open SuSE on my hp2133, saving only package list and my personal
backups. After that I've removed kde4* from saved list & did zypper install
`cat list | tr '\n' ' '` on reinstalled system (choosed fastest console server
variant while installing). After that, with screen resolution 1280x768 the
s2ram works OK in both cases:

1. without --force --vbe_save , just 's2ram'
2. 's2ram --force --vbe_save'

both variants work from console & from X - screen is restoring normally (though
both variants give some rubbish chars on the screen right before suspending).

Unfortunately I've not saved initial package list (w/o removing *kde4*
packages). Since both variants work - guess safest --force --vbe_save should be
choosen for HP 2133 netbooks like mine.
