I just had a look at factory package libidmef-0.7.2-200.12

For source code file libidmef-0.7.2/idmefxml.c
around line 3660 is the source code for the
function getStoredAlertID.

I notice the following lines of code

return aid;

fclose(f); /* done for now */

Perhaps there has been a typo here. In view of the
fact that f is not fclosed before the return, suggest
swap order of two statements.

fclose(f); /* done for now */

return aid;
