--- Comment #4 from pgnet Dev
But that's not a bug, that's the nature of the HEAD repos. Those are development repos. At the time the last package is built, the first one is already updated. It's not always easy to hit a consistent state.
hm. well, ok ... confusion abounds. as, (1) i'd been asked, previously, to track/test these pkgs on os11.1 (2) i was informed that these repos are the right repos to be using (3) this 'inconsistent state' has been consistent for -- and reported abt -- now, for at least 5 days &, since, clearly, "that all" is not currently viable, can you please suggest what i should now downgrade to so as not to completely break my system's pkg mgmt? specifically, what combination of repos & pkg versions (zypp, libzypp, and aria2 (to use ZYPP_ARIA2C=1) can/should i use so as to have a working system? is simply 'downgrading' to, zypper info libzypp zypper aria2 | egrep "Repository|Name|Version|Vendor|Installed:|Status" Repository: ZyppHEAD Name: libzypp Version: 6.7.0-8.1 Vendor: openSUSE Build Service Installed: Yes Status: out-of-date (version 5.29.6-0.1.1 installed) Repository: ZyppHEAD Name: zypper Version: 1.1.2-87.1 Vendor: openSUSE Build Service Installed: Yes Status: out-of-date (version 1.0.9-0.1.1 installed) Repository: Netutils Name: aria2 Version: 1.4.0-1.1 Vendor: openSUSE Build Service Installed: Yes Status: out-of-date (version 1.3.3-3.1 installed) where, grep base {Zypp*,Netutils*}.repo ZyppHEAD.repo:baseurl=(...)/repositories/zypp:/Head/openSUSE_11.1 Netutils.repo:baseurl=(...)/repositories/network:/utilities/openSUSE_11.1 sufficient/safe? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
