http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=504064 Summary: DeviceKit-disks need to install umount.devkit into /sbin but is not allowed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: captain.magnus@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042700 SUSE/3.0.10-2.1 Firefox/3.0.10 For GNOME 2.28, we will be required to package DeviceKit-disks. This package, however, wants to install umount.devkit in /sbin. This results in the error messages below. I was asked, in the discussion [2] on -packaging, to open a bugreport to get this resolved. The package itself can be found in OBS [1]. I'm setting this to major as GNOME needs this package for 2.28 (openSUSE 11.2). binary /sbin/umount.devkit is linked against libraries in /usr or /opt libdbus-glib-1.so.2 => /usr/lib64/libdbus-glib-1.so.2 (0x00007f12102b8000) libgobject-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libgobject-2.0.so.0 (0x00007f1210071000) libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0x00007f120fdaa000) libpolkit-dbus.so.2 => /usr/lib64/libpolkit-dbus.so.2 (0x00007f120fb9d000) libpolkit.so.2 => /usr/lib64/libpolkit.so.2 (0x00007f120f983000) libpcre.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libpcre.so.0 (0x00007f120f1bb000) Please adjust the paths in your package error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.82303 (%install) RPM build errors: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.82303 (%install) [1] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=DeviceKit-disks&project=...
