ifstatus exit code 12 means that DHCP client is running on the interface, but
did not receive IP address(es) so far. Probably because the interface is set to
dhcp4+6 mode (the default) and there is no DHCP server on the network that
could provide IPv6 address the iface is waiting for.

Anyway, this is a duplicate of bug #460093, which also contains description of
workaround. It is probably not accessible to general public, so I'm pasting it
