Let me add a comment: Maybe the problem is related to a somewhat uncommon
interrupt sharing: firewire, USB, PCMCIA all use interrupt 11 (filtered
output):
Device DMA IRQ I/O Ports
------------------------------------------------
ehci_hcd:usb1 11
eth0 11
ohci1394 11
uhci_hcd:usb2 11
uhci_hcd:usb3 11
uhci_hcd:usb4 11
yenta 11 11

It also looks as if interrrupt 11 is assigned to yenta twice.
