Summary: Unexpected behavior of dbus-send in pm-profiler

Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal

Pm-profiler uses the command dbus-send du adjust the up_threshold value of the
cpu. When I try to this command in the commandline to set a value of e.g. 52,
the value 77 has been written on /sys/*, not 52 as I expected.

Is it a missbehavior in dbus or do I miss something?

dbus-command:
dbus-send --system --print-reply
--dest=org.freedesktop.Hal /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.CPUFreq.SetCPUFreqPerformance
int32:52

return-value:
method return sender=:1.1057 -> dest=:1.1664 reply_serial=2

second command:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold

return-value:
77
