Thanks for testing Joerg but from the posted logs, the kernel seems to have
probed the harddisk and optical drive fine. It had to clear spurious IRQs but
after that all the probing and initialization went fine. Can you please...

1. Try to access the harddrive or cdrom from the netboot console and see how it

2. Netinstall the system and see whether things work? And if not please report
the logs.

3. Can you explain in detail how and when the installation DVD failed?
