First off, please uninstall alsa-driver-unstable-kmp. This is just for
testing, and right now, there is no relevant patches for your hardware.

After that, remove model option once, reboot and re-check the problems.
(I guess the non-linear volume is a codec issue, though.)
If the problems persist, run alsa-info.sh again and attach the output.
Then try dell-m4-2 model, and run alsa-info.sh again.

BTW, which volume are you referring to, exactly?
