Hello Marcus, thank you for your comment #1.

I was obviously confused by the fact that the modules vboxadd and vboxvfs are
being distributed within the rpm virtualbox-ose-kmp-default, which contains the
necessary kernel module vboxdrv for the HOST system. So there was no doubt to
me that these modules must be loaded in the host system, too. Also a short look
into /usr/share/doc/packages/README.SUSE did not clarify my wrong impression.
After the loading of these modules failed in the host system, I did not even
try to install the Guest Additions on my Windows guest system.
Now I did and everything works as expected.

From my point of view the bug report can be closed - or better be assigned to
the team responsible for packaging and documenting the rpm's.
