Hi, in debian and in some other distro you can easily build a .deb package from
kernel source (vanilla or not..).
If I'm not wrong we don't have such features.

Well, you can compile and build an rpm package calling make rpm-pkg/binrpm-pkg
but package is very generic and postinstall script are missing
(mkinitrd,bootloader..). Maybe that require/provide are not well filled...

Please don't answer that we have build, osc, those are different beast we only
need a simple solution. So you can easily build rpm from different kernel with
an easy way to manage them..

I'm not sure that "kernel" is the right component, maybe it's more an
packaging/development/tools/whatever features..
