https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462549 Summary: Installation of OpenSUSE 11.1 hangs while trying to create a working x-server configuration Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: sbjaved@gmail.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=262455) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=262455) Hardware Information While attempting to install openSUSE 11.1 (Final) Gnome LiveCD, the installation CD boots and hangs at the step where its creating a xorg.conf (Just after HAL boots up) This occurs both in "normal" and "fail-safe" settings. I've attached my hardware information below (as generated by Yast). The md5sum of the LiveCD was checked and found okay. I also used the "check installation media" from the LiveCD itself which generated no errors. As a caution I loaded the LiveCD in another computer where it booted and ran fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
