Linux version 2.6.25.18-0.2-default Linux version 2.6.25.5-1.1-pae
These are different kernel versions. As per comment #3 "Make sure you're using the same hardware and SAME KERNEL VERSIONS in both cases". It's fine to use a different hard drive but you need to be using the same kernel version for the test to have any meaning. My suggestion: - install 64bit hard drive. Run yast-upgrade. Upgrade all available packages. Reboot. Verify kernel version. Retest - install 32bit hard drive. Run yast-upgrade. Upgrade all available packages. Reboot. Verify kernel version. Retest Once you are using the same 11.0 kernel version for 32 and 64 bit, if there is still a difference it would be interesting to see if you can try using the latest OpenSUSE factory kernel. These can be installed in addition to your 11.0 kernel using rpm -ih. Select at boot time from the grub menu. Once you are done you can remove using rpm -e. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
