https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=447166 Summary: YaSY2 fingerprint reader module broken (ncurses) Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: jsuchome@novell.com ReportedBy: thoenig@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- YaSY2 fingerprint reader module broken (ncurses) I just did some QA with Beta 5 and had to realize that it is not possible to store a fingerprint using the YaST2 fingerprint reader module when running yast2 in a console. The module itself doesn't raise an error. But two things are broken: (1) After enrolling a fingerprint it isn't stored in $HOME/.fprint . The fingerprint reader module itself reports that the fingerprint was acquired successfully. (2) After enrolling I can not quit the plugin without hitting Cancel. When pressing OK nothing happens. Note: (1) After copying an already stored fingerprint to the new installation system everything works fine. (2) Using the YaST2 GUI (gtk) everything works like a charm. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
