https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=441346 Summary: Flash player plugin with Intel GMA 3100 cause BSOD Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bobby.culture@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User Not a blue but a Black Screen of Death. I am using an Intel GMA 3100 and I have a problem with viewing flash videos. If i start viewing a video using Flash Player then within minutes all I have is a black screen - a total system crash and the only thing that works is the reset button. This problem also accurs when using Kaffeine sometimes. If I am watching a video using Kaffeine and happen to move the player across the screen then first Kaffeine would get a totally blue background (no video as long as it's being moved) shortly before the screen goes black and the system crashes. Another problem is that the thumbnail preview (KDE 4 Compositing and Compiz Fusion) of Kaffeine playing videos (it also happens with all other players) only appears blue without showing the video. If the video player is partly covered by another window then that part of the window also appears blue. The Black screen problem happens when Using KDE 4, KDE 3.5x and Gnome with or without compositing and both on the 32 and 64 bit versions of openSuse 11. I even tried KUbuntu with the 2.6.27 Kernel yesterday and the same thing happened. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
