I just found out, that I can reproduce the error messages by trying to
uninstall one of the pam_fp packages:
root@stoetzler:~# rpm -e pam_fp-0.1-2.4
File /etc/pam.d/common-account is no symlink to /etc/pam.d/common-account-pc.
New config from /etc/pam.d/common-account-pc is is not in use!
File /etc/pam.d/common-auth is no symlink to /etc/pam.d/common-auth-pc.
New config from /etc/pam.d/common-auth-pc is is not in use!
File /etc/pam.d/common-password is no symlink to /etc/pam.d/common-password-pc.

File /etc/pam.d/common-session is no symlink to /etc/pam.d/common-session-pc.
New config from /etc/pam.d/common-session-pc is is not in use!
error: %postun(pam_fp-0.1-2.4.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
But I could uninstall the newer version:
root@stoetzler:~# rpm -e pam_fp-0.1-8.1
root@stoetzler:~#
root@stoetzler:~# rpm -q pam_fp
pam_fp-0.1-2.4
root@stoetzler:~# rpm -e pam_fp
error: Failed dependencies:
