The reason why a Network Installation fails and reverts to a text based
installation is that if the LAN does NOT offer any DHCP IP numbers it will fail
back to text. Without IP allocation being offered by DHCP a Network Install
will, always fail - most of the time a text install will complete O.K as it
asks for an IP address of the new to be installed PC.
Also without DNS Server being offered via DHCP - this to is a reason for
failure of automated installs.
ALL you need to fix is a few line at the beginning of the install IF NO DHCP
the ask for static address
AND
IF NO DHCP then ask for DNS Servers.
Someone forgot to recall that the world does not rely on DHCP in very case.
