There was a patch being sent in the hal devel list some months ago. I've picked up that patch and fixed it a little. I'm going to post it here once more. Danny, please have a look. Once acknowledged I'll submit this patch (it is only affecting libfprint) to STABLE. Ludwig, would you mind taking a look at the policy changes you've been mentioning on our call?
