https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434149 Summary: Aborting during package installation Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: badshah400@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer When a package downloading is aborted in yast this is what happens: error message with error code: user abort pops up. After hitting ok, if there are other packages to install, the error message pops up saying 'Cannot find media, Retry, Abort, Skip?' On this window, clicking on 'abort' aborts the installation completely, but 'retry' gives back the same error pop-up (cannot find media), and 'skip' skips the next package to be installed and pops up an identical message to show it cannot find the media for the following package, and so on. There should be way to skip the downloading of a single package (and then running resolver to detect which of the following packages are affected by not installing the skipped package) without quitting the package-manager, which currently Yast lacks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
