https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434058 Summary: mozilla-xulrunner181-1.8.1.17-1.1 rpm hangs Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: aaronw@doofus.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer When trying to upgrade mozilla-xulrunner to 1.8.1.17-1.1 the rpm process becomes stuck. md5sum is trying to calculate the md5sum of /dev/kmem and thus hangs. I have run into this problem with other versions of xulrunner as well. The command from ps is: /bin/sh /usr/lib64/xulrunner-1.8.1/run-mozilla.sh /usr/lib64/xulr??? (rest is cut off) I traced it down to md5sum trying to sum /core, which is symlinked to /proc/kcore. I do not know where this symlink came from. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
