https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433812 Summary: pam_mount (0.35-15.2) sig11 with luserconf active Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: werner.flamme@ufz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer Hi all. After installing the security update for pam_mount, I was not able to log in as user. Deactivating the luserconf directive in /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml helped. I changed the line <mntoptions require="nosuid, nodev" /> to <mntoptions deny="suid, dev" />, but to no avail. Activating the luserconf option still crashes pam_mount, so that I am not able to log in as user. I try to mount several CIFS shares in my luserconf, so the options "nosuid, nodev" cause errors. Putting the entries in the global conf causes them to mount properly, but they are only allowed to be mounted by certain users, so I do not want everyone to try to mount those. Any advice? At the moment, I went back to 0.35-15.1, and everything is fine again...
