https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=432595 Summary: X broken with multiple monitors Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: tiwai@novell.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- X doesn't start properly with multiple monitors. When kdm is started, X brings up but immediately aborted, and repeating endlessly. The hardware is Intel 965Q with analog and digital outputs, used as dual monitors. When only the digital monitor is connected, X starts fine. However, it makes other linux consoles garbage. Changing the resolution down to 800x600 doesn't influence. Adding 'Disable "dri"' to the config makes the driver not starting at all. Downgrading libdrm to beta1's (together with xorg-x11-driver-video) seems to fix the both problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
