Hello!
I have a thinkpad r50e. here si the output of s2ram -n
Machine unknown
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "IBM"
sys_product = "1834BWG"
sys_version = "ThinkPad R50e"
bios_version = "1WET85WW (2.05 )"
See http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram for details.
I run a fully up-to-date opensuse 11, and I use the "intel" driver. I have a
855GM graphic card.
You will find my worg.conf and the output of lspci attached.
Whenever I try to suspend the computer, it works fine, but on resume, the
graphicu are displayed properly: the fonts are not displayed fine when I scroll
(on firefox, for example) or whenever I move a windows, it is not redrew
nicely.
I've tried those parameter:
-f --pci_save --vbe_save --vbe_post
-f -v
-f -p -s
-f -s
-f -a 3
Here are the settings that works under Ubuntu 8.04:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-support/+bug/40621/comments/5...
None of this worked, and I still have the messy screen. But the suspend
operation works fine, and after resume, I'm able to use all the funtions of the
computer: only the graphics are not displayed well.
Do you have any clue on what to try ? I'm running out of option. I don't want
to test all the paramaters, because there are to many combinations possible,
and a missed resume means "hard-reboot", since even when I kill X, the graphics
are not nice.
Thank you very much!
Splitsch
