OK the boards that I have that all do the same thing are.
Asus M2N-E (nforce 570)
Asus M3N-HD HDMI (nforce 750a)
Asus M2A-VM HDMI (ATI SB600)
Asus M3N-HT Deluxe (nforce 780a)

Talking with other phenom owners they have the same issue with Gigabyte and
Abit boards as well, other brands I can't speak of.
In windows I use the AMD Power Monitor Version 1.2.3 and AMD CPUInfo Version
2.1.1 for detecting frequency steps.
