I don't agree with that because: - for laptop users NetworkManager is proposed - NetworkManager has it's own plugged/unplugged detection and don't use ifplugd ("On Boot") option
Okay; I can see that, now that I've read-up on the new NetworkManager package.
Only what I can do is better document this behavior. Do you agree with that?
Yes, please. I've run seriously afoul of NetworkManager these past several days. I didn't realize you shouldn't define interfaces to ifplugd on install if the connections were to be dynamic/user managed. So, both NetworkManager and ifplugd ended up trying to manage same network interfaces.
