https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=396444 Summary: Dual-boot with Windows Vista 64 appears to cause 0xc0000000e error Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jason.womack@kjmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer I shrunk my Windows Vista boot (C) partition using Vista in order to provide enough space to install openSUSE 11 RC1. I rebooted into Vista before installling RC1, which worked fine. I then installed RC1 and worked with it for a few days before attempting to boot Vista again. When I did I was greeted with a Windows Boot Manager error referencing \Windows\system32\winload.exe 0xc0000000e error. I have no reason to believe there were problems with my Vista installation prior to the installation of openSUSE 11 RC1, however I have no idea how to determine that for certain. One other note, my Vista installation is the 64-bit while I installed the 32-bit version of RC1.
