https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=393008 Summary: kdm-autologinconfiguration in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager not touched Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: daniele@sase.de QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: daniele@sase.de Found By: --- After the installation autologin was enabled. I tried to disable it within the systemsettings-app. But it didnt worked. It tried to login with the autologin-user. After deleting this user it still tried it. I deleted the autologon-feature in the systemsetting-app (as root), but it still tried to autologin. In /var/log/warn I found this error-message: --- May 21 09:27:53 gaia kdm_config[4332]: Multiple occurrences of key 'AutoLoginEnable' in section [X-:0-Core] of /usr/s hare/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc May 21 09:27:53 gaia kdm_config[4332]: Multiple occurrences of key 'AutoLoginUser' in section [X-:0-Core] of /usr/sha re/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc .. May 21 09:30:36 gaia kdm: :0[4727]: getpwnam(cosmonen) failed. --- I searched for the deleted user and found the file /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager After deleting the username in DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN kdm didnt try to autologin anymore. So i think that systemsettings didnt modify the sysconfig-file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
