No ACPI events are generated according to acpi_listen. Additionally, 'showkey -s' does not show the key press. Finally, I used evtest to see if the key was registering there and I got the following: evtest /dev/input/event4 Input driver version is 1.0.0 Input device ID: bus 0x19 vendor 0x0 product 0x2 version 0x0 Input device name: "Power Button (FF)" Supported events: Event type 0 (Sync) Event type 1 (Key) Event code 116 (Power) Testing ...
