https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=388479 Summary: 1920x1200@60HZ is missing from select list Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: PC OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: mrmazda@ij.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- To reproduce: 1-delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf 2-open sax2 in runlevel 3 3-select -> LCD (generic flat panel) Actual results: 1-1920x1200@60HZ is missing (cannot be selected) 2-list is unsorted, making finding a particular selection difficult Expected results: 1-list is missing no standard 4:3 or 16:10 @60HZ (most common LCD) modes (e.g. 1920x1200@60HZ) 2-list is sorted by resolution, starting low, ending high Note - I selected 1920x1200@75HZ, even though @75 is out of range for the WUXGA HP w2408h panel I tried. Sax2 did eventually figure out to give 60HZ as a result, but it took very long, and wouldn't occur to all who know the display isn't supposed to do 75HZ to try it anyway. If sorting needs a separate bug, let me know and I'll file one. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
