https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=386696 Summary: libstdc++.so.2.8 missing from compat package Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: leo@nwfactory.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- This file was included in the compat package on 10.2 but seems to be removed from the 10.3 package. I'm running a sybase application that still requires it. I fixed the problem by replacing the 10.3 rpm with the 10.2 rpm. Is there any reason why this was removed? Any chance it can be added again in future versions? There are a lot of third party applications that still require this kind of libraries (oracle,sybase,...) 10.3 compat version: compat-2007.4.18-31 10.2 compat version: compat-2006.1.25-29 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
