--- Comment #13 from Thomas Meindl
Please can you write exact step to reproduce? Sure, here it is: Situation: Fresh installed system, KDE4 desktop, ready for work with.
Start up YaST2 in KDE4. Then select 'Software Management'. Next, enter the name to install a arbitrary software package in the 'Search' field (e.g. chromium ) and type the '+' key to select the package. At this point, there has to be one arbitrary CD/DVD (except the installation media) in the first optical drive. Then click on 'Accept'. The summary of the installation process comes up and a messagebox with 'Insert '(Disc 1)' and two checkboxes appears. If I select the checkbox 'Show details' here, the info 'URL \n cd://?devices=/dev/sr1,/dev/sr0 ' and a textbox with 'INVALID' shows up. Now I insert the openSUSE media 'SU110Bet.001' and click on 'Retry' (KDE 4 shows that the media is present). As a result both drives spin up and the same messagebox with the request to insert the disc pops up again, until I select 'Abort' If I go through this procedure without having a media in the first drive, the openSUSE media is recognized at once, and 'Retry' starts the software installation.
Do you add this CD during install or on installed system? The system was installed with this DVD, and it is inserted after Yast ask for it.
