I am having a little difficulty understanding why the ipw drivers located in
the repository /repositories/driver:/wireless:/10.3/openSUSE_10.3_update/ have
not been put into the regular 10.3-update update channels, for everyone to get
and use. Instead, it is "hidden" from the casual user and only those who have
read this, or other related bug reports, know it exists.
Please remember that not all SuSE users are pros. Grandpa would have already
switched back to Windows long ago if I wasn't around to help with stuff like
this. And he hates Windows!
It is obvious that the fixed rpm packages in this repo work. Is there some
policy that I don't know of that prohibits putting it out for EVERYONE via the
normal opensuse update channels?
