https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=374627 Summary: System repair hangs Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hpj@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- After an update rendered my install unbootable for the second time this week, I tried the "repair system" option from the Alpha 3 DVD. In the repair tool, I unchecked everything except for "bootloader", but it re-checked some things, like "file system". Then the repair process hung during the file system check. The progress bar says /sbin/fsck.ext2 -n -f /dev/sda2 and is at 95%. It appears completely frozen, and there is no mouse pointer. I let it mount my swap partition earlier, when it asked. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
